Numbers Question

Hey all,

I have a quick question on Alkalinity readings.

I'm told between 7 - 11 dKH is preferred for a small reef tank.

Mine is 11 dKH - is this a problem? How do I get it lower if needed?

Other parameters:
Calcium = 460 ppm
S.G. = 1.025
Temp = 77F
PH = 8.4
Nitrates = 0.0 ppm

In my opinion, 11 DKH is not too high. In fact, folks using a Calcium Reactor have their Alk settle out around 12 Dkh
