Obese Starry Blenny?

Hi!
I got a starry blenny about a month ago, seems happy and vigorous. At first I was glad to see him putting on weight, but it's getting a little dramatic. He's basically all tummy, like a tadpole shape. I think he's pretty young, only 2" long.
Is that the right shape for him to be?
He had 2 rounds of prazi in qt, and his poop looks normal so I'm thinking it's not flukes. He's being camera shy, but I found this pic of a lawnmower that is the same shape as him. All face and belly, with a skinny tail.

WOW what a little toad and a huge difference between juvenile and adult coloration. Here is a picture I got from LA as I'm undecided if I want a Starry or a Yellow Watchman.

I have an adult like the pic below. His belly isn't as pronounced as your guys beer belly is, but he's thicker than I expected him to be. Tomorrow I'll look closer and see if I can grab a pic.

lol@ swallowed an egg!

mine's colored like the liveaquaria pic, just the body shape of the pic I attached. well, he changes color, but that's one of them. during the day its brick/yellow and at night almost black with white speckles and mustache. its a really cool fish

idk dkuhlman, I think mine would be ok with a ywg. he just hops around on the rocks and perches where he can see the tank, at night he sleeps in a cave. pretty rare to see him on the sand at all. maybe mine's weird tho...

thanks mrsreefk!
You wouldn't think they got so stocky from the pics on liveaquaria etc.

My Starry Bleny was like that at times in QT, then he slimmed down. More than doubled in size in 10 weeks.

I think it's hit or miss. Everyone says that the LMB and starry are pretty peaceful, but mines a brute.

He will attack anything that gets too close. Including my hand.

My Lawnmower blenny is fat like the picture above. So is my Yellow watchman goby..
They did fine together in a 55g and don't even pay attention to each other. They're in a 120g together now.

Actually after looking at the picture again, I think mine is fatter [emoji54]

My Starry has tasted my hand once or twice, but I got the impression it was more out of curiosity than aggression. He gets PLENTY to eat, and is shaped more like the LA picture.
