We I caught the bug again. I already have a 240g, and I wanted to get something upstairs for the kids to ooh and aww over so today I picked up a used 67g Oceanic rimless (36x18x21) from a member on our local forum. I was going to make a stand for a 40g breeder, but after spend right at $300 on materials and still going to need more to get the stand that I wanted, I found this gem for $360 with tank, stand, sand, mount for lights, live rock, and some miscellaneous chemicals, etc. I cleaned it the best that I could without damaging anything.

Today I painted the inside with Kiltz to protect the wood from rotting. I also picked up a Trigger System 30x12 sump for it as well. Paid just as much for the sump as I paid for the aquarium, etc. go figure.

Tomorrow I will hang the doors and work on the plumbing if time permits.

Parts that I already had for this build:

Reefbreeder 36" LED
Vortech MP40W (I have 2, but I think I just need 1 for this build)
Skimmer (forgot the model, but it used and will like replace. I think it an ASM)

I will be looking for a few used items like an Apex with all the fixings in the near future.

Great tank and great deal on it as well.

Thanks. Was too good to pass up.

Lovely looking tank. Whats stock are going for?

I think I am going to do most softies and LPS in it with some reef safe fish. Since this is upstairs and my son will be primarily responsible for maintenance on it, I want to make it as easy as possible for him to maintain.

Fish list:
Bicolor Blenny
McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
Firefish (3-4)
Black Cap Basslet
Clown Fish (2)

Inverts:
Banded Coral Shrimp
Brittle Star Fish

I have been buying frags of zoa for this build and adding them to my main DT until it is ready. I already have a lot of purple ricordia growing like crazy in my DT that I will move a few to this build. I just ordered the following zoas for this build as well:

BEBB
PZ Vampire
Joe Crab's Nebula
Blue Hornet
