Ocellaris looking skinny

Ive got a 20g stocked with a black ocellaris aw well as an orange. The black has been in the tank ~6 months and is presumably full grown. The orange ive had for maybe 2-3 months and is far smaller, bought from a local breeder as a juvenile before there was really any black on his fins. They get along great, the orange is growng well, but today i noticed my black is looking skinny and slightly emaciated. I see shadows running horizontal down the side of her, most prominantly in her middle stripe. This was the best I could do for a pic:

The only thing ive changed in the last 3 weeks was switching from new life spectrum pellets to APBreed TDO-C2 top dressed pellets.The new pellets are smaller and the baby orange clown can eat them far easier. Since theyre smaller i try to make up for it and feed what feels like more. I also sometimes throw some NLS pellets in during the 2nd feeding of the day to make sure the she definitely gets her meal.

I did move some live rock & corals from my 75g into the tank ~1 month ago, but they have seemed to get used to it, and infact seem happier with the new setup.

Is it parasites? Am I underfeeding? Or is it nothing...?

shes eating the smaller pellets when you feed her at least right? im not familiar with the second food you mentioned. maybe supplement her diet short term with brine shrimp(they are like treats, theyll fatten her up but arent very nutritious) then long term with mysid.

yep lokks relly skinny, not very good. just feed her alot.

This is the food. Yes she eats. I plan on getting some frozen mysis tomorrow, hopefully they'll fatten her up again. She doesnt seem to be eating any less than she was though, and even though theres pretty strong flow in the tank ive noticed on 2 occasions that she's had stringy poop hanging off of her. Not sure if that indicates any health issues.

honestly that food doesnt look good at all. the first three ingredients are all meals. this means they could be any part of the animal and more likely than not the un nutritious parts (fish scales, squid beak, shrimp tail) then the other ingredients are mostly land foods. marine fish have a hard time digesting this type of food especially wheat products. personally i feed my fish elos svm2.

hmm, thats surprising, but not something I can argue with. I got some mysis today and fed with that, she gobbled em right up. I suppose ill stick to that and the NLS pellets that i have and see if theres any improvement.

You must not be familiar with Reed's Mariculture... You know, probably the top supplier of feeds for breeders...

With that said, OP, TDO's primary use is meant as a growout food. If feeding pellets, get the smaller New Life Spectrum Thera A.

i'm gonna be honest im not familiar with it. but those ingredients arent good regardless. that being said it is a grow out food

That makes sense, I was given the food by the guy who hatched the clown after I told him the clown was having a hard time with the bigger pellets, since it's no more than 5 months old. I'll grab those nls pellets and have enough pe mysis to last my nano a while.

it was never white, but i did notice it stringy on 2 occasions, which surprised me because there is pretty high non-laminar flow in the tank. I havent seen it stringy in the last few days though.

You can order antibiotics online. Do your research as which you need though either gram negative kr gram
Positive. It's very confusing! Post in the fish decease forum. That's where I got help. Good luck!
