So far, the itinerary for the meeting is that we will have stations where we can watch some of the speakers from the past MACNA meetings. All the speakers at MACNA are the best of the best, & very informative, as we all know. Randy Holmes Farley, Daniel Knop, Robert Bob Fenner, Sanjay, & Eric Borneman just to name a few. This will be a great opportunity to learn about subjects that we are not informed about but would like to learn from.

We had alot of CARC people come down for the last meeting at Aquarium Fantasies. If you join MRC or have joined already, being that Aquarium Fantasies is one of our sponsors, you will receive your 10% off discount on livestock.

The meeting will start at 2pm. We will list more details soon...

for accurate directions, they are on mapquest.

these are some topics from MACNA 2004

Dr. Tim Hovanec--science, sea salts, and sea urchins
Larry Jackson-reef photography
Steve Tyree-expanding the zonal concept to natural captive reef filtration
Bob Fenner-Three sets of factors that determine livestock health
Eric Borneman-Current research project highlights
Dana Riddle-making corals colorful
Joe Yalullo-building and maintaining a 20,000 gallon reef
Sanjay Joshi-spectrum vs par-does it matter?
Walt Smith-what do we grow, why do we grow it, who cares??
Bruce Carlson-spying on reef fishes
Rob Toonen-sand beds and plenums

I just sent out an email in regards to the meeting. if you would like to be on our emailing list, please pm me and I"ll send it to you.

Sorry, I failed to mention that if you're coming, if you would please bring your own lounge chair. we won't be renting chairs again, so if you can just bring your own so ya'll can sit and rest and watch the dvd's.

thanks
