Octo on Ebay

Oh its not I ordered a dwarf for my 20gal tank now Im looking at this for my 75gal tank. Its Atlantic around the Caribbean I belive?

The beautiful O. macropus. One problem with this species is they get rather big, but I believe a 75g is suitable...I'll let animal mother verify. Second from all my sources I found them to be totally nocturnal, which stinks, since you'll hardly be able to witness this awesome octo. Also called grass octopus I believe around the Carribean. If you do decide to get him, let us know!

That sucks to hear Id never see him I think Ill try to find one that will come out some more. It looks like a very pretty octopus to bad! Now the search is back on! Thanks for your help!

Macropus gets as large as vulgaris. You should have a 120 gallon MINIMUM for it. I asked the person running that sell to change their description and apparently they just worded it a little differently.... harder to sell to people when you have a size requirement that large.

It is in the best interest of the octopus to be kept in a tank that is sufficient from the get-go so you don't have to stress it out later capturing and moving it to another tank.
