Hi Aquacave
Could you post the real picture of how this skimmer looks like? The picture you have on your site is the bh100f. And the descriptions said its the same as the bh100 but the picture is shown is the bh100f. I would like to see how the real thing looks like. Thanks

Thanks alot Albert

Will aquacave carry this octopus hob in the near future?

No, coralvue dealers will not carry this skimmer.

Is that because it is not a true coralvue octopus product??

Just to correct this MISINFORMATION about the Octopus BH-300F - CORALVUE dealers WILL be carrying this skimmer. I got my info straight from CORALVUE about this skimmer because I am interested in it as well.........................they WILL BE IN STOCK AND AVAILABLE IN 3 WEEKS. This info came direct from CoralVue, so where are you getting your info?????????????

Thats good to know if its true, as i thought only the swc octo dealers were going to be carrying it.

Hate to be hijacking this thread, but who deals in SWC Octopus skimmers?

Hi Happyface888,
We are still out of SS units. We'll update the pictures as soon as we get them in.

We are getting BH-300F within next couple weeks.
I'll post an update as soon as they are available.

I'm in Chicago and ordered a BH-100SS from another vendor who was at IMAC and I sent it back as it is not what I expected (but then again - there are no pictures anywhere - even at the coralvue site!)

My expectations were that the pump would be in the skimmer and the surface skimmer would be the one pictured earlier in this thread.

What I got had the pump outside the skimmer (in the tank) and the surface skimmer elbowed off the pump inlet and that round item w/ the holes in the cover as the surface skimmer.

I bought this for as little as possible to be in my tank and with the surface skimmer, 2-3 times as much room would be consumed in the tank.

To be fair - everything was labeled as 100SS and the Coralvue tech aknowleged the "different" surface skimmer design - but was pretty assertive that the pump was in the skimmer. Maybe I got a bad packaged unit, but without pics - I don't know.
