octopus reef 200 skimmer

I just install a octopus reef 200 protien skimmer and it is producing so many micro bubbles. Is this normal will it go away and how long/

Most, if not all, should go away after about a week

Read on a thread that you should brake in a new skimmer by running it in bucket with some vinegar to start and then some skim mate from your old skimmer for a day or so I guess there are some manufacturing oils left on it, if you search for reeflo skimmer thread I think you will find where this was talked about.
