Supposedly they should be alone in a tank. Corals and Anemones are supposed to be okay. However, I've had fishes and some snails survive more than a year.

What tank mates have you tried that survived for a long time? Not just weeks...but 6 months to a year.

I have had a cinamon clown and a black urchin of some sort in with my 5'' peacock since feburary. She couldn't care less about the fish... I have seen it swim down into her PVC hole and she didnt even chase it out. The urchin, on the other hand, has taken quite a beating as of late.

My green brittle star was hit when it venture into the lair...and made a quick escape. The snails are not being touched.
