So I just got home from the LFS with my newest addition (algea blenny) and the lights are already off on the tank. So I turn them back on to acclimate the new guy, and my eyes just happened to be focused on a particular rock when i see something scurry as the lights begin to flicker. A teeny tiny shrimp tail!

I have rid my 1yr old tank of 3 TBs hitchhiker MS... dont tell me I have a baby!!! I didnt get a look at the head, just the small translucent tail. Where did he come from? I have seen my pep shrimp release hundreds of small babies, but none of them had a chance at survival. Could this 'baby MS' have beat the odds? Lucky him! Lucky me! Arggg...... :mad2:

Well until you see the head you can't be sure. Try a flashlight at night with a red lens. A lot of them are very good hiders and come out at night when the fish are sleeping.
