Ok, I'm having a red slime algae problem on my sand, and want to know if there are any inverts that will eat it. I don't really want an emerald crab because of the mixed reviews.

Also, while on the subject of algae, anything other than emralds that will eat hair algae?

Zebra snail's love hair algea. One the size of a golfball will keep your 55g tank sparkling clean. Make sure you're frags are glued in though, they're a bit... Big...

Unfortunately, I don't think anything in a normal clean up crew will eat cyano. Better to try to address it through nutrient control.

*edited to correct a reading comprehension problem on my part.
