Hey, I am serious....look on April fool's day in the post history....I didn't realize it at the time that it was April fools day, but if I had thought of it I would have listed some exotic zoas (something Big Daddy Zoa-Kings like Chris or Jason would be proud to own like Sunny D's or Klaeidoscope or disco inferno's at $50 a head) and then after the 100th post I should have said APRIL FOOLS DAY! Since it doesn't appear we will ever have a local meeting no one could kick my butt:jester:

I did offer some exotic freebees like kenya trees, pom-pom's and xenia.:hammer: and not one....not one... person took me up on it....:sad2:

I was feeling charitible after the boys from Mississippi and Arkansas felt pitty on me and my .50 per head zoa collection and they gave me some freebees. They said they had one polyp that was worth more than all my zoa's combined......okay well they didn't actually say it...but it was probably true..

Now I demand valueless zoa's in exchange for my priceless and exotic corals...no more goodwill from me....well I might take a mushroom or two as well...oh heck...I might even sink as low as to take a used PC light fixture in exchange for them....hehe..
 
If a location is needed for a local meeting, my office conference room is avail most evenings and weekends. I just need a couple days notice to make sure that noone has scheduled the rooms. We have 2 conference rooms we can use. The office is in the Crescent Center on Poplar.

well i got a pm from "inexplicable" 1st before you responded. he said something about coming this weekend to take it off my hands. but if i dont hear from him i will sure trade ya for something. i may want some of your rare Intergalactic Xenia for the small tank i have some no name zoas to spare.
 
Sounds like a stellar trade is the works even though I was hoping to add another 48" PC light fixture to my current 48" PC light fixture and vintage T8 light strip collection. I display them in the back of my upstairs closet next to the other items I should have given away years ago. I didn't get much sleep last night realizing I missed the opportunity. I am sure "inexplicible" will put it to good use...

I actually have two types of xenia. One is the normal brown and the newest one seems to have a bluish tint? I picked it up for $5 on a rock with some mushrooms at the Nashville swap. I really was just buying it for the mushrooms and just threw it in the back corner of my main tank. A couple of the xenia have jumped onto the glass and now I kinda like them (If I tire of them, one swipe and they are history so I am going to let them run). They seem to stay smaller, which I like. When cleaning the glass last night I accidentially knocked one off. I would imagine they are a pain to try and glue to something? Anyway, I dropped it into my frag tank and will have to see how its survival instint works. Anyway, I have the other xenia already on seperate frag rocks and ready to go. They are really cool and guests to our house always get a kick out of their pulsing motion. Also, for my ellite RC friends I have kept a couple of treasured pom-pom and kenya trees....and in exchange for a truely worthless zoa, I might could even let a neon green star polyp frag go...
 
well i would like to trade for any type of the xenia you have to spare. that was my problem with the last frag i got. it was not on any rock and it didnt hold the rock i jammed it into and it floated beyond the rocks into oblivion. ive got lots different stuff to trade for. but i have never been big on zoas so the few i got are just the no namers. if you see somethign else in my tanks youd like instead that would be fine provided i have enough to frag.
 
I am happy to give them to you. I will see if I can get one of the blue xenia to jump onto another rock and I will give you one (or two) of both. I will have to dig in the prior posts to find your tank. If I see something that would work in my tank you can put me down for the next time it is convinent to frag.

I can give you the brown xenia that is ready to you anytime if you are anxous to get something in that tank......or wait until and see if I can get a blue one to jump....let me know.
 
I have tons of pink xenia. If you want some I can frag a head and bring it when I come to pick up the light and you can just have it. I can't get rid of the stuff fast enough. -Jason
 
yea yea sounds good bring me a clump. if you can get some on a small rock that'd be great! so it dont float away. i will give u a clean rock in return
