Hey guys I just don't feel like battling the aptaisia any more and am taking down the 125. The only thing I am selling is the livestock. My plan was to take out all the rock with aptaisia on it, but after thinking about it I am afraid I would have to pull out about 50% of the rock. And then I am afraid I may have my tank crash with around 15 fish in it. I don't want to take the chance of killing the fish and think it's best to just find them good homes. Here is my plan on the selling:

Sell off all corals
Sell off all rock
Sell off all fish

If people wants the colonies of corals they will be 30-40 dollars each.
I have a light solid green cap about the size of 2 small saucers and a green cap with purple rim again small saucer size, a solid orange cap small dinner plate, a darker green cap that a little larger than the orange cap, gsp, large colony of giant hand anthelia, and a leather that's as big a a large dinner plate (sorry but that one is 100.00), blue Crocea Clam 50.00

Fish include:
Naso Tang 30.00
Yellow Tang 15.00
Regal Tang 50.00
Sailfing Tang 20.00
Long Nose Butterfly 20.00
Ruby Head Fairy Wrasse 15.00
Yellow Coris Wrasse 20.00
Orange Spot Goby 20.00
Pair of False Perc Clowns that really need to go with the large leather 20.00 for the pair
Flame Angel 30.00

All fish are healthy and eating well and all but the Flame have been in my tank at least a year

I will sell off the rock at 2.00/lb and some of the rock have ecrusting coral of them.

Folks I would like to do this ASAP....I just hate looking at the tank and wondering what it COULD look like, and want to get started on re doing it.

You can reach me by cell 901-406-6457

I will be home most days by 5 pm and this Thursday I am off all day

FIRST come first served

Why are you selling all your rock? Let it dry out or boil it, that will kill the aptaisia. Then you can safely use it to rebuild. Just add a small amount of new Live Rock to re-seed it.

called you about the liverock ..... trying to setup up my 72 bowfront again ...... if anyone has any marshall they are trying to get rid of I need about 20lbs for my new redsea tank

Hey sperry, if I take out all the rock that has aptasia on it that would be most of my rock. I am afraid the tank would crash with all the fish I have in it.

Hey Jerry,
If you really want to give it one last ditch effort I highly recommend the Aqua Blue Aptasia stuff that Dave has at Kermits. I met the Aqua blue guys at MACNA and got a sample to try out. That stuff puts Stop Aptasia and Joes to absolute SHAME!

I mean after the live stock is sold. Instead of selling the existing rock at a big loss and then buying new rock to replace it all.

Just got back from Jerry's house .... and I will say this ..... an aptasia problem is an understatement ..... he has an apatasia farm ..... some of his liverock is so heavily encrusted you can't tell its even liverock

His corals on the other hand are awesome ..... He has three montipora capricornis that are in awesome shapes and are almost the size of your head ... If i was setup already the green one would be sitting in my tank tonight ..... In the middle of his tank he has a sarcophyton that is the size of a basketball .... the thing is freaking huge

Its too bad the Ruby Head Fairy and Yellow Coris Wrasse are already spoken for .... that yellow coris is an awesome looking fish

I hope I'm the one their spoken for...

I have Robert down for the Naso and Mike down for the Wrasses. I will have to get most of the rock out of the tank before I can even think about catching them though. I got your message today Robert and will call you later today.

Update......well we had a power outage and I lost the flame angel and the fairy wrasse. I have a generator but didn't have a place to use it except in the rain and didn't think I should do that. So far that looks like all the casualties. Everyone else is out and eating and swimming around.

The large leather, a couple of small brown acros that have a green tint under actinics, quite a bit a live rock, sailfin tang, yellow tang, longnose butterfly, large rock and mixed green and brown star polyps, large rock of green encrusting pavona, large rock with rose bubble tip (may be spoken for...will know maybe by tomorrow) I don't go in to work until 2 pm on Saturday and Jason will come by in the am, so anyone wants to call me around 10 am is ok with me
