I'm building a tank 24"x18"x20" and I was thinking how having a couple like maroon clownfish and wondering how safe they would be with a N wennerae that only 1.25" long. I will (hopefully) be breeding peppermint or cleaning shrimp in my 55 gallon sump, so there will always be a couple shrimp, snails and hermit crabs to hunt? does this sounds safe. Right now I only have 2.5 gallon tank with the mantis in it and am upgrading to about a 110 gallon (3 tank system) and want the main display tank with corals,a mantis(N Wennera-or smaller mantis) and a couple fish(wife wants them, and me too)?

Well, it'll certainly be happy in there! You might not see it much, though. The clowns should be safe with the shrimp. Not sure about the other way around. The cleaners, on the other hand, are a different story. I would not attempt to keep cleaner shrimp with mantis.

I will be breeding marine white feeder shrimp so I will never have to go buy more food for the mantis or the fish. Yeah I'm still trying to decide what fish I want as I want something that dosn't swim on the bottom and is very very colorful like the maroon clown.

I have a maroon clown with my 4 inch O.S. right now and there are no problems yet... although she has killed 2 damsels and a scooter blenny. so it seems to depend on the mantis

yeah mine is only a 1.5" N Wennerae and won't get much bigger and with all the other food in there I don't think the fish will be a target.
