OK to store an empty tank outside?

Hello RC,

I was wondering if it is ok to store an empty aquarium outside. It will be covered by a waterproof tarp, but will be exposed to cold temps, especially at night. Is there any chance the tank could be damaged?

I'd say it's OK. I've seen glass get etched from acids and whatever's in the rain water. Silicone is fine in any temp found on earth. I'd say the rain and UV from sun would be the things to worry about. Also make sure your lawnmower doesn't spit a rock at it cause that would suck too lol
