No this is not for my ongoing trouble w/ heroin (j/k!!!), but I seem to have developed a canyon of aiptasia in my nano tank of doom (My N. Wenn. Ming the merciless resides there) and it is encroaching on some really nice zoas and blastmoussa. It is time to nuke them with some kalk injections! But where the heck do I find a legal source of hypodermic needles?

Careful with that needle in my past experience I have only caused mass aiptasia blooms with injection methods no matter what I injected into them. You don't have much of a choice in that tank though unless you relocated the mantis for a few days and put in some true Carib Pep shrimp. Good luck!

Know any insulin-dependent diabetics? If not, I do and would/could send you one in the mail. Do you want the needle, too? How about a local vet and ask for a used one. I don't take much stock in that working, though. Never worked for me. Can you take the rock out and let someone w/a CBBF put it in their tank for a while. My CBBF cleaned me up in a matter of days. JKJ

I have found out that in many cases when a procedure call for "injecting" the Aiptasia does not necessarily means actually using a hypodermic needle to do so.
When using Kalk or Joe's juice drooping some into the aiptasia's mouth is all that is needed. Simpler are more effective. Trying to insert a needle on a retracting aiptasia is almost impossible so, just use a needless syringe to "inject" (read as drop) the treatment into the aiptasia's mouth.

i work at rite aid in the pharmacy, go to your local drug store and most sell individual needles or needles by the 10 pack and all you have to do is sign for them

i buy mine from a vet clinic, they deal in larger livestock, horses, cows, ect.. always have huge selection of syringes. I don't use needles though, just squirt em on the mouth, usually kills em good.

Yep the seek up and cover their mouth gently works great for me. I found this out using the applicator that comes with Joe's Juice.
I've always gotten syringes at a farm & feed store in the past. Since they carry ones for large animals you can get a larger gauge needle. Try for about an 18 g

Chris I use the needles that come with the 7in1 canine shots. I usually pick them up at Valley Cash and Feed. (they are cheaper there than most other places.) Comes with a syringe (Needle and All)

Cool, thanks everyone.. usually I don't mind those little guys, but now that they are encroaching on some good stuff... gotta go!
