in habitants are as follows....as far as i know anyway...

1 Coral banded shrimp (wish it were from him)
1 black brittle star (probably not from him)
1 6line wrasse (not likely from this guy)
1 green chromis (pretty sure it isnt from him)
2 false percula clowns ( i know it isnt these guys)
some asternia stars...mostly in the sump
1 pistol or mantis shrimp (not sure as he has been very ellusive)

4 blue legged hermits
2 maragrita snails
2 trochus snails
1 turbo (that would be neat)
6 nassarius snails ( i know it isnt from these guys...i have seen there egg sacs before)
1 cerith (LOL that would be neat too...)
3 tongan cerith snails
2 astrea snails

pretty sure it is snail droppings though...just which kind...and will they make it? CBS cant get to them...and the Wrasse dosent seem to have seen them yet..

Do a search for pictures of cerith snail eggs. The strands of eggs I have seen before look somewhat different but that's most likely what they are. It's a diverse family of snails. The larvae are free-swimming and slow to develop so it is doubtful you will have any recruit in your tank, again assuming that's what they are.

yeah that is what they look like to me too..

too bad i have thousands of those decopods on my glass. and the site i checked out said that they will eat all the eggs....oh well...maybe some will live..

yeah they are definately snail eggs.

Hehehe....yeah i knew that...i just wasnt sure which snails did it...

NanoReefWanabe,

Do you mean decapods or amphipods? Decapods are shrimp, crabs, lobsters, etc. (I'm not trying to be the taxonomy police but I thought I would point that out :) ) Do they seem to eat your snail eggs?
