Hello all,
Just wanted to let all know that our BBQ was a big success!! We had a nice turnout and it is always great getting together with fellow friends in this great hobby.
It was brought to my attention that your president made a small error in giving the correct directions to his own home.
Hard to believe a person could not get people to his own home...so I apologize to all those who not only struggled to get here but to those who might still be driving around trying to find me!!
Here are a few pics of the evening.

Thanks to all who made this event a success including my wife who always seems to make these parties fun and run smoothly!!
For those who did not attend the BBQ I also want to make an announcement. This will be the last event I host as the OMS president. Due to my wife's work we are being transfered out of town and I must step down. I have already asked Jim Gryczanowski to take over my role and he has accepted. I have worked with Jim on numerous roles in the society and feel he is very worthy as well as dedicated to keep the society going in a positive direction. He is looking for volunteers to help, so if interested in keeping the society above water please contact him.
Last but not least I want to say that members of the Omaha Marine Society have not only helped me become a better aquarist, but many of you have become some of my best friends. I will miss the fun, fish talk and events a great deal! Stay in touch!!
