So I'm on vacation and I just saw via my tank cam that my clam fell off the rock it was on and is laying, I think, on its side in the sand. Should I get someone to do anything or will it be fine for about 2 weeks?
if you have someone you trust to dip hands in the tank i would give them a call. two weeks is longer than i'd personally be comfortable letting a tridacna clam lay on its side for.
Just found out when she turned the clam back over that shell was empty. No clam inside. I can only guess the hermit crabs eat it after it fell over. Nothing else in the tank.
Probably not, but she sent me pic and I can't see the mantle, just white shell. But rhe pic is not the best angle. She did know what the clam looked like before though.
