One more fish? Suggestions?

I have a 20H tank that has been set-up since September, 2005, and I was wondering whether or not it would be ok to add another fish. I currently have 2 percula clowns and a royal dottyback. I was thinking of adding another fish, would this be ok? And if so, what would you suggest I add? I was thinking of a damsel of some sort, but I heard they are too territorial.

Any input would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

AJ

damsels are just horrible fish in nature ... they can even seem nice and then turn territorial and over time it will be the only fish left in your aquarium. If you like the shape of damsels I would suggest a much more gracious and peaceful fish like a sunburst anthias ... however research them because it's important to acclimate them properly not just to your water but also to your aquarium environment. Once they are acclimated and used to all the inhabitants they are very hardy.

An anthias would still be aggressive in a 20H tank due to the lack of swimming room and territory IMO. I would look into some shrimp gobies and pair them up with pistol shrimp. I would worry about the dottyback too. They are known to be semi-aggressive at times.

do you have a sump? I think it would be better is you did. You would probally add another small fish though. What about a single green chromis, they usually do better in a group, but they also seem to do ok by themselves. Other than that i would say some type of goby, but a chromps would give you a active swimming fish like a damsel, but not as aggressive.

I was thinking of getting a green chromis, but I was wondering, dont they have to be paired or in groups? More suggestions would also be appreciated.

Thanks

Aj

Also, although I do not have a sump, My refuge is growing lots of chaeto and I am skimming really heavy now after a few mods done to my skimmer. I think my tank could handle the extra bioload from more fish.

Thanks,

AJ
