One of 8 Acans not growing

I have 8 Acan Lords in my tank, but one of them just refuses to grow like the others. I'm constantly having to pick algae off the side and it never inflates like the others. What could be wrong? Are some just slower growers than others?

Mysterious. Your other ones look so good too. I'm sure vareity has something to do with it but given that everyone else is satisfied it makes me wonder if it's something else. Have you tried moving it to see if it prefers different light/flow? Any chance you can ask the person/store you got it from and see what the mother colony likes?

i had one just like that. Took mine over two weeks to get use to my tank. i first placed it at the bottom for a week and it never really inflate or at all. Then i moved it mid rang where water flow is moderate and left it there. Now he is fully inflated everyday and even better. The coolest thing is he is starting to get new colors weird.
