that is spectacular!...i have a beautiful green bubble, and it was doing great, ut doubled it size in 6 months but in the recent few weeks it hasnt yey opened 100%, maybe 25% max. i have adjusted flow, water changes etc, all my params are in check too...no idea whats wrong with it...
LOVE it!! I had just gotten a beautiful bubble right before having to head to KS last summer when my Dad passed away....I don't know if you read on our local forum, but my hubby managed to kill ALL my corals while I had to be away all summer....I have gotten my water back in check and I am slowly starting to stock it with corals again...
Very sorry about your dad! Husband's are trainable!

i have kept several bubble corals long tern and they have never grown well for me, nether lone that much in one year :eek1:

Wow, that thing is amazing, now I know I won't be getting one, no room in my tank for a monster like that.
bubbles and trachy are my fav lps .i have two branching bubbles one green one white.they are both two branches like the twin towers and tower obove my sandbed and have now split into 2 on each tower.i rarely see the branchung form anymore and they seem to ship better then the wall or encrusting bubble and have smaller polyps and are more expensive.what is youre feeding schedual?my lfs has a purple wall bubble!yes it purple never seen one b4 and it is not dyed it has beeen there for 2 mon ths and stayed purple and new growth is purple.very expensive though but if i had room it would be so worth it it looks insane i will get some pics it is going for 275$ and it 6 by 4 inches and very healthy no septa showing or receeding.gl with youre bubble and please just post youre feeding schedual.thenx and if any one want s the purple i will give you the stores # i think they ship.one of a kind

sqwat, I target feed my tank 3 times a week. I feed Rods food, Oyster feast, DT, frozen Pods. hope this helps.
