One Year Later...

i clicked on the red house

You have a CopperBand Butterfly Fish, I heard they are hard to get feeding.

How is it doing in such a small tank?

I heard they need atleast 50 gallons, u have it in a 20

The CBB past after 2 months of being in the tank. He was small, about 3 inches and I was (still am) planning on upgrading. He ate mysis shrimp like a champ, I found him on the bottom one day, no apparent reason why he died. Fellow reefers have told me they are finicky little fish and don't do so well in captivity (they told me this after I bought him).

I have two moded maxijet 1200s. Basically I drilled extra holes in the bottom of the impeller housing and the chopped off the outlet nozzle.

Here's some pics.

No, what I have in the tank now is all I will be adding. I will be upgrading to a 45 in the next month or two and I will be transfering everything to it.

Good mod. You can clearly tell the intake restriction is what limits flow on these pumps.

Although I'd maybe drill the back 1/2 of the 'cover' & not the whole thing to make sure the impeller is not outputing flow out of the front holes.
