I plan on my tank running with only LR for soft coral like leather, star, and.. torch? if possible

Sure, why not? I am actually running a mixed nano reef and currently not running any other form of filtration besides live rock and filter pads that get replaced 2x/week.

do you have sand in your tank? If so how much of sand do i have to put in? and also want to know the rate of LR in your tank..
