After a tank has oodinium, what is the best way to wipe it out of that tank? That is, how long fallow? Increase temperature? Lights out?

bleach...not trying to be funny...but oodinium can lay dormant even with no host...I would nuke everything to be sure...or just fill the tank with r/o water (fresh) and let stand for 24 hrs...
