Oooppsss, they dropped it again!

I placed an order of 6 fishes and 2 shrimps, and got the package today. When I opened the box, every thing is nicely packed. But then I noticed 1 fish was on back order (No big deal, since they will ship it when they get it) but then a big crack on the Styrofoam box. But I didn't think much of it, since the outside box looks fine. I thought they just used a cracked box..... Not until I started to open the bags of fishes then I noticed ............

I had one DOA and one fish (Lemon peel Angel) swimming very strange. It swims in circle and tries to swim out of the water. Like trying to propel out of the water, it has been doing it since I started the acclimation process.

So I called (around 2:00PM EST) L.A. immediately and spoke to Craig and he is nice to offer me credit or refund of the DOA, and asked me to keep an eye open for all the other fishes for the next two weeks, since they can all be damaged in some way.

Now it is 4:00PM EST, the lemon peel is still swimming strangely none stop. And the multi-color angel is starting to act the same way, but not as consistent as the lemon peel.

What I really don't understand is, who can dropped a box that labels Live Tropical Fish - Handle with Care and the box is not even 30lbs.......

I know it is mostly not L.A.'s fault, since I can tell they really pack it nicely for the shipment.

I am really hopping the rest of the fish can survive this. The 2 shrimps looks fine so far. Enough of my venting. I will be keeping my fingers cross.

It is not uncommon for new fish to be a little “off” after a stressful shipment, however they should recover with in a couple of days. Update on the lemonpeel and Multicolor angel.
The lemon peel is doing a lot better, but after closely inspect the Multicolor angel I noticed something looks strange about this fish.

I took the photo of the fish. I am not sure if it is pop eye. It has been like that when I got it.

Thanks Chris, Here is an update of the Multi-color angel and I have PM the order information.

Right now, the Multi-color angel is breathing heavily and sometime hovers side ways, but I am not sure if it is normal.

I woke up early to check on the new fishes, and I found the out that the multi-color angle didn't make it. It was dead.

Chris did asked me to add medicine, so I added the ones of the suggested medicine which I have at the time Melafix and was going to get the rest today, but ......

After thinking about it, it probably wouldn't make it since the way it was breathing and swimming the whole day yesterday.

My order number is A2676113. Is it possible to give me store credit just like the DOA?

Progress of the lemonpeel and the rest of the fish are doing great. I have put them all in the DT. The only issue I have iathe dwarf flame being chase all over the tank by my dwarf flameback. So I put the flame in a see through container and will try to introduce it slowly again. But they are all eating. Lemonpeel is 2X the size of the flameback but its being picked on by the flameback...

All the surviving fish is doing so far so good even though the package was dropped.

Will keep my fingers cross for the next 10 days.
