I tried an open brain in a stock 12g AP and had a tough time keeping it going and it gradually went down hill on me. Love how they look just need more light. Sorry
I have a 24g nanocube (not sure how the lights compare to the aquapod) and I had an open brain in it. It got pretty big fast, but I was feeding it pretty well. I still have it but moved it to my 20g because it had move space for it to expand. But now it looks like it's expanding even bigger.
Yes, the aquapod come with 32w actinic and 32w daylight.
The aquapod is actually my wife's tank and I'll have to see if she wants to upgrade. I think she wishes to stay with a fully enclosed system as she would like to take it into a classroom when she starts teaching. Thanks for the suggestion.
