Open Brain Question

There is a large good looking brain at my work that I want to get. I want to put it in a spot where a quarter of it will be shadowed. Would this be allright or should I get a smaller one.

Yah i think it will be ok if there is just a bit of it being shadowed. They like to be placed in the sandbed.
