I think that my open brain is going to die. Are there any suggestions?

My lobo looked just like that when I bought it and I thought it was going to die, it did fine for a couple of months without feeding, just with the lights. About two years ago I started feeding mysis, turn off all the pumps and drop some with a turkey baster right at the mouth, slowly but surely it recovered and now it is gorgeous, you cant even see the skeleton anymore. Good luck. Oh and I would do a water change, nitrates are kinda high, you dont want them to get pass 40.

agree feed it. I even feed mine a piece of silverslide sometimes, it really loves it!!

yes feed it and be cafeful about othe fish picking it.
nitrate 40 is not good.

My brain would always look bad when Nitrates were 20 or above
