Ready For Business
Hey all, after renovating our fish room at the store I work at, I decided to set up a Biocube 29 next to the 400g reef we have as the centerpiece of our fish room (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2078471 build thread here), to show people what's possible in their home. So far it's only stocked lightly, but of course as time goes on it'll end up being a nice little reef tank display. The emphasis is more on the corals and less on the fish, so for the time-being the fish that are in it are likely the only ones who are going to be in it.
Current stock:
Aqueon 500 powerhead, removal of the bioballs, addition of Oceanic protein skimmer and UV sterilizer, filtration with a bag of Clear FX Pro, with no further mods planned. We wanted to present the easiest, most stock setup to customers. Endlessly modifying the tank with LED light retrofits, refugiums, etc. ends up making it more complicated for the customer when we want it to be a starter setup.
And now some pics and a video!
