Opinion needed on skimmer

I used that Reef Octopus on my 40 Breeder and I'm currently running a tank that is too clean, IMO. Lots of bang for your buck.

Wow! Any of those skimmers will do way more than you need. I have a Bubble Magus. I wasn't sure about it at first but stuff is hard to get here and it was available. I couldn't be happier. Really good value for the price. I haven't tied the others but it will get to the point that you will have skimmed all you can with just about anything on your list.

I use an eshopps in my 55 gallon. It's fairly low in the air intake department compared to all the others. Pretty rock solid otherwise. I have to skim mine really dry, takes about a week to fill the cup entirely with black skimmate, otherwise it's just too diluted and I drive my salinity down. Some of the others are comparably priced, use alot more air (bubble magus nac6 is in the neighborhood of 500 lph, where as the comparably sized eshopps psk75 I use is only 150 lph). I'm not a skimmer junkie but I would assume more air intake will mean better skimmate. Just a thought. I'm sure someone will jump on here quick and say I'm way off the mark lol

I would go with the octopuss. I've never been a fan of skimmers that have their drive pump inside the body. I feel it takes up to much potential reaction chamber space, especially on a smaller sized skimmer like these, but in all honesty any one of those could work.

This is what I've been grappling with. In 10G tank I'm very limited as to what I can place, and a skimmer with a pump inside the body reduces the reaction space.
