opinion on Maracyn treatment

I have a fish in a reef tank that is showing a need for a treatment of Maracyn 2 but I may get away with plain Maracyn1.

I cannot remove the fish and the only life in the tank other than fish are BTA.

Can I get away with this treatment?

i have been feeding maracyn (eurythomycin) soaked krill to my mini carpet anemones for a week now...though it has not got rid of the fat lip on my carpet it doesnt seem to be hurting them either..i would have to assume some of the medicine leaches out of the krill before they consume them...i dont see any ill effects in my tank...

but whos to say you wont either...
