Opinions On Copper Treatment?

I have a fire fish dart fish and a lamarck angel in a 20 gal QT tank for the last 5 weeks. These two fish has lived with 8 balloon mollies that lives in the QT all the time. I am wondering if I should still do a copper treatment on them as a precautionary measurement? I have not seen any sign of parasites on any of the fish or any flinching or scratching. They are all eating very well also. I have always did copper treatment on all of my new fish when I get them but this time I held off to see what happen without doing copper treatment. My Lemark angel has developed a popeye in one eye (don't know why) after having it for one week. I have since treated it with epson salt with no results and have also treated it with Furnan-2. It is doing well and eating very well and I will continue to keep it as I am not giving it up. I know it not a 100 percent but how do you feel about doing copper treatment or not? This will be my first time for no copper treatment but I feel pretty confident as I will still leave the in for a total of 8 weeks.
