Opinions on Seachem's Reef Dip Coral Disinfectant

What do y'all think of this stuff? I was going to try it out on my zoanthids that aren't opening.

Do you think that it'll cause any predacious nudibrachs and heliachus snails to fall off of the zoas?

It says it's safe for all corals including SPS. Has anyone used this on SPS?

Thanks.

I tried using it on my green button polyps that had lost their color, and have white specks on them. It didn't cure them, or harm anything in my tank.

Its a good/ok dip for zoanthids, but its not effective for some of the SPS parasites that we have encountered. It does work on the monti nudis but not the AEFWs.

I used it on all my SPS, had no problems whats so ever. It killed redbugs, pods and pretty much what ever was on the coral.

I mixed the stuff slightly over the recommended dosage

Is there a better SPS dip?

If there is, then I'll buy that and get Lugol's solution to make the zoanthid dip, and then I'll just return the bottle of reef dip.

There is tropic marin pro coral cure. it is good stuff from what I hear. I have a bottle but haven't used it

Yeah, well here's proof it had NO effect on monti nudis. Not sure what you did Rod, but I soaked them in the stuff at like 10x concentration, no effect at all.

I use it, but it won't kill everything bad...
