I have a 60 gallon with a 10 gallon that usually hold 5 to 7 gallons when tanks running. I also have a top of system that i normally keep 5 gallons of ro water in it.
here is the scenario... Im on vacation and the tank is being fed.. top off is empty. And im gone lone enough for the sump to being al the way down to what seems to be 2 gallons... so 5 gallon lost off of 65ish gallons.
whats worse for the tank... the increase in salinity from all that evap... or the efffects of adding tap water just that one time till i get back???
i appreciate some expereinced inputs plz... thanks guys!!!
