Had a bit of a cyano outbreak a bit ago when my chaeto crashed (my fault-long story). It is all gone now except for about 2 square inches on a zoo rock. The zoo rock has a couple different colored zoos and, unfortunately, the cyano is covering one color totally. I've blown it off and scrubbed it off best I could between the polyps. I couldn't get rid of the small spot. So, today, I put the rock in a 5 gallon bucket with a heater, maxijet (with air) and red slime remover. I was planning on keeping it in there for 2 days. Anyone done this? Any opinions on the length of time?
