Opposite pump control...

Trying to get a nice wave from my 2x Tunze 6100 with my Profilux. I have pump group1 set to permanent, and group2 set to permanent opposite. 1 pump in each group, on opposite ends of my 5'x2'x2.5'. V4.0.1 Firm and soft.

I expected the pumps to do the exact opposite to each other, but I can see that even though the 2 groups have the same wave duration of 0.8s the groups are not staying in sync. This is seen in the wave and also in the software!

Any ideas, no way I can trne the tank frequency with it like this.

TIA,

I have experienced the same issue with the permanent and permanent opposite settings... the opposite is not quite opposite, the syncing of the pumps is off - within the groups as well as between the groups of pumps.

Cheers guys.

Setting them both to perminant opposite does the same, the two channels do not stay in sync. I have now got a half way house - I set both pumps to circulation 1 in the 1-10v interfaces section so that they both run on the same channel. This is not exactly what I wanted as I wanted them pulsing on an opposite cycle.

Do I have a fault with my unit or is this normal? Which ever it is not right and I am not too happy about it.

:(

Whats the v set at? Tunze's should be set at 3-10
I would double check all the settings and reffere to the manual.
Something is missing, I doubt its the controller. Good luck.

They are both set to 3-9 as I do not want to over load them, plus 10 would be too much wave.

This is not the issue though as I am talking about the pulse frequency and not the power. I have been through the manual and nothing looks wrong in the settings, but I can not see anything other than the pump group duration that should cause the channels to go out of sync
