I posted this question in the lighting forum, but it may be more appropriate here.
I have a 180 with 4 vhos (50/50 & 03). Other than the fish, there is not much in there except for a few mushrooms, a frag of neon leather and a frag of hammer coral.
The distance from the bottom of the vho light to the sand bed is approximately 29". Will this be enough lighting for brains etc? I plan this to be a LPS/softy tank. If not, I was thinking about removing the actinic whites and replace them with (3) 80w T5 and keep my vho actinics. I'm concerned if the T5 will be too bright for the LPS whenever I add them.
Thanks,
A
