ORA Reef

Currently my reef is almost coral-less. I have a large Bright Red Lobo-Brain, and a small colony of Ring of Fire Polyps.

When I initially set this tank up a few months ago, I was planning on it being a SPS tank. Well, the plans are the same. I have been looking around at many different species of SPS corals and I have picked a few that I want to add, and am looking for suggestions.
My tank has been up for a little over three months. It is an Elos System 70 (55 gallons). It is setup as a barebottom tank, so far I love the BB system. I only have around 25-30 pounds of rock. But it is Very porous rock. I love the look of Japanese SPS tanks, and I have minimal amounts of Live Rock, just as many of the Japanese tanks do. Currently I have an Ehiem 1260 Return pump (635 gph) and a Vortech Gen2 MPW40 (3000 GPH) I keep the vortech set at 100%. I have very random currents thanks to the wave making feature of the Vortech and my unique rock formation. I plan on adding an additional Vortech around Christmas. I will syn the two and both with be at 100%. I LOVE flow, and the Bare Bottom is really allowing me to achieve amazing flow rates. :)
For Lighting I am using an Elos Aqua-Planet II (One 250 watt HQI MH, and Four 24 watt HO T5s)

Filtration is accomplished vis the Elos NS500 Skimmer and Filter Socks. THis skimmer does an amazing job.

Fish list: (Before I get bashed for this, and told it will never work, and that these fish eat corals, please read my other threads :))
Regal Angel
Potter's Angel
Flame Angel

These fish were in my previous 240 gallon reef tank, and have never touched a coral (SPS< LPS<SOFTIES<ZOANTHUS<CLAMS)
I know that there is a risk, but I dont mind if my fish nip occasionally.

Now to corals.
Here are the corals that I am considering, please feel free to make suggestions. And if there is anything that I should know about these particular corals please dont hold back.

ORA BLUE MILLEPORA
ORA ROSE MILLEPORA
ORA DELICATE AUSTRALIAN STAGHORN
ORA DUSTINS DEEPWATER ACRO
ORA HAWKIN"S BLUE ECHINATA
ORA PHILS GRANULOSA
ORA PURPLE PLASMA
ORA RED PLANET
ORA PLUM CRAZY
ORA VERDE ACROPORA
ORA VALIDA TRI-COLOR
ORA ROSCOES BLUE
ORA BOREALIS
ORA OREGON TORT

Obviously I will not be adding all of these corals to my tank. I like to have plenty of room between corals. I like to see corals grow into colonies, not big frags. :)

Does anyone here have any of these corals that are grown out. You see so many frags, and I know that the colonies look much different than the tiny little immature frags.

Sounds like an awesome system you have there, I love the Elos set-ups! I don't have any of the ORA corals you listed but I do know that the Pearlberry & Red Planet are gorgeous! I also like the Hawkins and Phil's Granulosa, both of which are beautiful corals. There are tons of reefers on here that can supply you with boundless info and pictures on the corals you want, keep us posted.

Nice, I just did a full new setup,

Added the following corals last week

ORA Borealis
ORA Bellina
ORA Blue Voodoo
ORA Plum Crazy
ORA Pearlberry

waiting on a red planet frag

I must say its expensive but ive never seen such Polyp extension on frags!

Sounds Like a sweet build!!!

You might regret those angels though!!

I have a Flame and a Coral beauty in my SPS tank and after 10 months they now nip at most everything SPS,LPS and zoas.

Do you have pics of the sytem?

You have about $700-$800 worth of ORA corals listed. I would 86 the Angels before investing that much into a tank. Once the tank has corals, it's a lot harder to get them out.

+1 ^ i think most of us have been threw the fish problem i would for sure give them away or take them in for store credit. although they may look like happy no coral eating fish they can turn into direct spawns of the devil and destroy everything >: (

I would also ixnay the Verde. Don't waist that money. It isn't a very impressive acro. I have a huge piece. Not a stunner by any means!
