ORA trip?

Do we have a set date for the trip? I need ot make sure I am off work for it.

There is supposed to be an ORA field trip this month.

I had hoped it would be on the club website, but it is still way out of date. We don't have anybody that can do it?

I'm responsible for the website updates. Problem is, I'm not getting info to update the website with. So we're all in the dark together.

The turtle release was great. We learned a lot about the program to protect the nests and saw one of the enclosures they use on Haulover Beach. We all went down to the shoreline where they released a bucket full of hatchlings. We watched and cheered the little guys on as they made their way into the surf. It was great!

Yeah, the turtle release was a great experience and very informative. I think the kids all enjoyed it as well. Has there been any word or updates about the ORA trip?

I will be watching this thread intently, as I really really want to go on this trip. I'm willing to drive the 6 hours (each way) for ORA.... And then I get to see my tank and clean it up too! Yay! I just hope it's not next weekend (21-23) as I'm going to Naples to do some Career shadowing at the Ritz Carlton.
