Orange clay pot for spawning?

I have a GSM clownfish pair that is trying to spawn. The female keeps cleaning the corner of the aquarium with its tail. It upsets my sandbed and also disturbs my Duncan coral. I thought maybe if I put something for the clownfish to breed on that it would quit fanning the sand around the tank. I have an anemone in the tank but the clownfish are actually from a previous batch of eggs from a past generation of my legacy clownfish pair. Right now the only thing that likes the RBT Anemone is the Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, lol.

Anyways.. I wanted to know if a simple clay pot would be safe to put in a saltwater tank. Also do you think it will stop the clownfish from moving the sand around. Would love to hear any ideas for getting the clownfish to host the RBTA too. :)

Clowns do what they want. A Clay pot works for a lot of people here, but the clowns will spawn where they feel comfortable. I tried to get mine to spawn on a tile, but they just used it for shelter. So you can try, but in the end, they will do what they want, so no guarantees.
