will they eat a clam?
can they live in a 34g reef?
do they stay in the rocks or sand more?
and what can you feed them when there food runs out?

ive got 2 in my 55 with clams, inverts and almost everything else that is reef safe and ive had no problems with mine. they dont really stay on the sand at all mainly just the glass and rocks and they move around all the time. I dont target feed mine so i dont know what to tell you to feed other than what i give the whole tank which includes mysis, flake, oceans blend, and cyclopeeze

most people recommend linckias only for large (100+ gallon display) well established systems. No one is really sure exactly what they eat, which is one reason some struggle keeping them alive.
