-i was considering picking up a pair of these when they come back up on DD again, i know they are difficult feeders and have a tank ready for them but out of curiosty i wanted to know if anyone knows if they are aiptaisia eaters?

also what does a pair typically go for on DD? i cant remember exactly what it was but i dont think it was all that expensive

I have a pair from DD, I'll have to check the price but it wasnt bad. They wont eat aipastia, at least my pair never did. If you do a search for orange spotted file fish there are two great threads you should read.

70 or so. No on the aptasia from what I've seen. The do pester sps and some lps. Seem to leave polyps, mushrooms, etc alone.

They won't touch appies. Mine never looked at polyps of zoas and such.

Have you all actually gotten these to go permanently on mysids et al?

Yes. Mine eat at least 7 or 8 prepared foods with vigor and have very good body weight. I've had my pair for about 17 months.
