does anyone have one of these ? i got him today and he is 3-4" at least. he seems pretty mellow at the LFS he would stay on the bottom and hide in the rocks and hes doing the same here but i hope when he gets used to his new home hell be more active. the owner told me that he has a grouper in his tank and it will leave any snails alone but he would be worried about shrimp/crabs. i have plenty of lr for my 2 peppermint shrimp to hide in. do they hide a lot or are they a active fish? i cant remember the name of the grouper the owner was talking about but it was blue with a yellow stripe at the tail and sometimes it would change color. it was really active. this is the only fish in my tank now with nothing but snails and the 2 peppermint shrimp for company. what should i look forward to ?

grouper having shrimp coctail! they will eat anything they can fit in their mouth if not constantly full. (red rosies) cheap fresh water fish are good, just dont put the water in. any small SW fish that it can eat, it will. it will become more agressive when other fish are introduced. REEF-ON!!!

i was afraid of that. he seems pretty timid still but its been barely 24 hours. i hope he gets more active insted of sitting on the bottom of the tank in the rocks. as far as i know the skrimp are still alive and i havent seen him swipe at any snails yet.

there was a diffrent grouper that was at the LFS but he cut up his back on a rock or something an dit wasnt for sale until it got better that was really active. if hes not active ill prolly get rid of him.
