orchid dotty and Anthias?

I have an orchid dotty that took out a blue reef chromis even though it was supposed to be compatable. LFS told me the chromis was too docile and the dotty just bullied him out of the rocks. The live aquaria compatibility chart say dottys and Anthias are compatable.

Anyone have any experience with these guys?

I've had several types of dotty backs and they were all bullies. A single Anthias probably wouldn't do good. A small school of them would fair better.

Orchids are peaceful for a dottyback, but will definitely defend their territory. While an orchid should be fine with anthias having too small a tank or not enough cover can contribute to aggression.

I've have 5 orchids with 5 lyretails. The orchids don't really interact with the anthias. They spend most of their time chasing each other. I also have a springer's dottyback in there. He seems to keep to himself. Tank is a 30x30x20 inch cube.
