Hi,
Had a few issues with my latest order - hopefully its nothing major like the SPS issues I had and the Fed Ex delay from the last one. This time most of my corals came from California instead of your Wisconsin location. I have an issue with two of the brain corals I received. I should note that the sizes on the colored brain and the pineapple were very generous and the color on both is just fantastic. I also am pleased with the yellow leather and the acropora prostrata. However the red brain (lobo) looks like a plain brown brain. I know corals can lose their color somewhat in shipping but can I expect it to color back up? I took a picture of the corals below. The other issue is with the colored brain (lobo) its a great size and excellent color but its showing lots of tissue recession - that is I can see a good portion of its skeleton which has me concerned.
First pictures of the good corals
Nice A.Prostrata - starting to get back more of the green color now that it is in the main tank.
The nice sized pineapple brain closeup
The brown lobo on the left - was this a mistake or will this color back? I placed it next to another red LPS for comparison.
Very large colored green lobo - note how much skeleton it has been showing. This is still in my Q tank. Its actually a nicer green but its under a 20k radium.
