Ordering a new tank

Hello all,
Long time reader but really never post. I am about to order a new tank and need some help. The tank is going to a semi-in wall tank. You will be able to see in from 2 1/4 sides of the tank. (It will be on a corner).

Dimensions
40'' wide
36'' deep
30'' high
3/4 starphire glass.
About 187 gallons.
Euro braced (I may have them euro brace the bottom too) Thoughts on this?
Black silicon

So here are some questions I have.
Beveled edges? Polished edges? Is this worth having done?
Overflow:
The idea I have is a internal "coast to coast"(Not all the way across though as you will be able to see in the one side) over flow about 2 foot long. I don't like the idea of having an over flow going to the bottom of the tank and waste all that space. I would like 3 holes drill in the back panel. This is where my questions are. How high and deep should I make the over flow? How far from the top should I have the holes drilled? Any suggestions on the size of the holes? I am not 100% on the flow through the sump yet but I would rather go bigger then smaller and regret later.

Any comments, feedback and/or suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks for your time,
Mike
