Ordering Snails, Hermit Crabs, Etc.

Hey guys and gals. I was going to place an order with an individual for a few things for my tanks. Mostly Snails and Hermit Crabs, but he has a lot to offer at very reasonable prices in my opinion. I am going to have the order shipped overnight, so I am already going to be paying the shipping.

I thought maybe someone would like to get in on the order, and get free shipping. I would like to place the order tomorrow for delivery on Thurs, but could wait till Thurs to place it if we need to time to organize.

Probably going to wait until tomorrow (Friday) morning to place the order for delivery on Saturday. See if anyone else wants to get in on this.

Update.....I missed the guy this morning before he went to work, so shipping today won't happen. I will talk to him this weekend to set it all up for shipping on Monday and delivery on Tuesday, I think.

Got a couple of people in on the deal now, so if one or two more wanted something, I can probably get it in. Just let me know.

Bit of a change of plans. The guy just called me, and he is going to ship tomorrow for a Thursday delivery. I will let you guys know.

Wanted to give everyone an update, now that I received the package from the guy. He was a bit slow on getting the items shipped. There was a storm that rolled through the NorthEast so that was kind of expected.

The package was delayed by USPS for some reason, but the guy did pay for overnight shipping guaranteed for delivery by noon. So that put a damper on things being alive and well.

Anyways, he did package very well. All items individually double bagged, popcorn and heat packs included, and everything was in a styrofoam box and then put in a regular box. Despite being in the box for over 60 hours, a lot did live and make it here.

We are getting reimbursed for the loss and shipping from USPS, so that is good, and I will probably be getting the inverts that died sometime next week. We will probably use FedEX this time.
