Orp

Oxidation Reduction Potential. It measures the water's ability to pass electrons and the content of anti-oxidants. It's been a while since I read the science behind it. Basically, it can give you a picture of how "clean" your water is. If something large dies in your aquarium, the ORP will decline.

Something to keep in mind is that your ORP number isn't terribly important unless you are running ozone. Big changes to it can be an indicator of issues.
