I've only had mine for about a month and so far I am very satisfied. I found though that the light spread or coverage is very dependant on how high you can get them above your tank. They have a lot of par and by placing them higher you will get a pretty good spread and acceptable par.
In my case I could only put them about 12" above the tank and since my tank is 60"x30" i decided to use four fixtures. I probably could have easily gotten away with three if I had the height. I can adjust the par since they are dimmable.
The construction of the fixture is pretty simple but affective with basically everything sandwiched together with acrylic, a large heatsink and a silicone gasket on the PC board. I did have a peek inside and the optics over the LED's are removable and can be changed easily if Orphek develops new designs.
It's still too soon to determine if they are any better but my corals, sps in particular seem to be responding well.
